Hello, I’m Josh, Founder and Managing Director – I would like to talk to you about excellence
“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit.” Aristotle.
I first came across Aristotle’s words while studying Ancient History at University. It stuck.
Teague & Co was founded to continue to build on this concept, which I have endeavoured to put into practice throughout my personal and professional life. Our goal is to achieve excellence on every project we manage, regardless of the size.
I have worked in Property and Construction for well over a decade, achieving Chartership with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. I also hold memberships with the Pyramus and Thisbe Club and the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors.
During my career not only have I been a Specialist Party Wall Surveyor, but I have also gained extensive experience as a general Building Surveyor. I have overseen multi million pound Major Works projects as a Contract Administrator, carried out Preventative Planned Maintenance surveys for blocks and estates, undertaken various forms of Defect Diagnosis and advised Landlords on Leaseholder Licence to Alter applications. This breadth of knowledge ensures we see the big picture – ensuring commercially minded advice is given.
In the Party Wall world, I have added value to hundreds of projects throughout London: residential extensions and refurbishments; large scale basement extensions; multi million pound new build mixed use schemes; and everything else in between.
My firm belief in excellence, proactive advice and the ethics of professional service is ingrained in everything we do. Our team at Teague & Co are all cherry picked, not because of the degree they studied at University, but because of their personal and professional attributes that allow them to deliver excellence.
