Our Promise
At Teague & Co we believe in the fundamental principle of giving back to the communities where we work.
Our industry is about people. Whether it is people moving home, extending their home, investing in property or living next to people carrying out building work. It is the people that we interact with that make our work so enjoyable and fulfilling.
For this reason, we have placed the people around us and the future of our planet at the heart of our business.
Some of our initiatives:
We sponsor a room for the young homeless
Teague & Co are a carbon neutral business
We have implemented an Environmental Policy
Youth Homelessness
We consider ourselves very fortunate to have a roof over our heads and a warm home to live in, sadly this is not the case for so many people.
Homeless young people are sleeping rough on London’s streets every night and Centrepoint are an exceptional Charity who support the young homeless with shelter and getting back into education, training and employment.
Violence, abuse, family breakdown and problems with mental health: young people often become homeless because it’s safer to leave home than to stay.
According to Centrepoint’s research, 110,000 young people asked for help with homelessness last year - this needs to change.
At Teague & Co we have joined thousands of others and pledged to permanently sponsor a room for a young homeless person.

We are a Carbon Neutral business
Our planet is our legacy for our children and the generations to come and climate change is a global issue that we cannot overlook any longer.
As a business our commitment is to operate in a sustainable and environmentally responsible way.
We have a company environmental policy available here and we measure and offset our carbon emissions each year with Carbon Footprint by planting trees at schools within the South East.

Saint Lucia Youth Development and Access to Sport - Assistance Required!
We are assisting Michael Barratt from Transport for London who has been working with Saint Lucian Football clubs by supplying recycled football boots and mentoring young people on the island (CVs, career paths, CPD structure and interview practice).
Saint Lucia is experiencing over 40% unemployment and serious crime is on the rise. Many families are unable to purchase kit due to financial challenges resulting in many children being unable to get involved. Those that are playing often share their boots with their teammates which is not ideal. Sports are a good diversion from negative environments and helps build a child’s character and resilience and when complimented by mentoring and support helps young people with positive directions.
How can you help?
If you have any good quality, no longer required, football boots sizes between 5 and 13 (UK) with ‘plastic moulded studs’, please drop them into our collection box (email for details). As soon as we get a good amount, Michael will be contacted to collect and then ship out. He promotes the work on public media, and you will see who gets the boots. There is no money involved!
